Friends, Colleagues, our dear Customers! Please accept our sincere congratulations on the upcoming New Year! We wish you health, happiness, well-being, success and prosperity in business in 2019!

The outgoing 2018 year was full of important events, bold projects and the successful work of all divisions of the R&D Center “AhmadullinS – Science and Technologies”.

1. Sulfur-alkaline waste treatment unit by LOCOS technology for Khark Petrochemical Company (Kharg Island, Iran) was commissioned.

2. Issued 3 Basic Designs:

— LPG treatment from hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans at the primary oil refining plant of LLC ‘Afipsky Refinery’ with a capacity of 3.0 million tons / year for raw materials;
— recalculation of the mercaptan removal Unit of the MTBE production of OJSC ‘Slavneft-YaNOS’;
— LPG treatment from hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans for AT-1 LLC “LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka”.

3. A License Agreement has been concluded for the right to use ‘Demerus’ technology at LLC ‘Afipsky Oil Refinery’.

4. A feasibility study was issued for the reconstruction of kerosene mercaptan removal installations for NIS (Pancevo, Serbia).

5. Manufactured and delivered 4 batches of catalyst KSM-X for the following installations:

— LLC ‘LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez’;
— JSC ‘Gazpromneft Moscow Refinery’;
— JSC “Syzran Refinery”;
— Khark Petrochemical Company, Iran.

6. 5 patents of the Russian Federation received:

— No. 2644779 The catalyst for the liquid phase oxidation of sodium sulfide ;
— No 2659269 The method of purification of wastewater from sulfide and/or mercaptide sulfur and installation for its implementation ;
— No 2647591 The method of joint production of polyquinones and ethylene bisphenol;
— No 2665039. New chemical compound bis (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl-propyl) phosphonate;
— No 2654095. The method of feeding animals and birds.

7. 11 scientific articles were published, 7 of them in Russian journals and 4 in foreign.

8. The material base and new directions of activity of the R&D Center “AhmadullinS – Science and Technology” were developed.

 

1. By the invitation of the German company EDL Anlagenbau Gesellschaft mbH R&D Center has participated in the exhibition ACHEMA 2018. At the round table with the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, opportunities of possible cooperation were discussed. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, has been presented with technologies for the mercaptans removal from hydrocarbon feedstocks and the treatment of sulfur‑alkaline wastes.
   

 

2. Performed recalculation of mercaptans removal block of the MTBE production unit at JSC “Slavneft-YANOS” with identification of bottlenecks and issuing solutions for their elimination.
3. Patent of the Russian Federation No. 2654095 is received – METHOD OF FEEDING ANIMALS AND POULTRY.[PDF format]
4. A batch of KSM-X catalyst was manufactured and delivered to JSC “Gazpromneft-Moscow Refinery” to regenerate the mercaptide-containing alkaline solution of the 400 GFU section of the Combined Unit of Oil Refining.
5. An agreement was signed with JSC “Syzran Refinery” (Rosneft) for the manufacture and supply of KSM-X catalyst batch for the regeneration of mercaptide-containing alkaline solution at mercaptans removal block of saturated and unsaturated GFU sections.

News for January – April 2018

1. A License Agreement has been signed for the transfer of non-exclusive License for the use of inventions in the field of LPG mercaptans removal with LLC “Afipsky Refinery” (New Stream Group).
2. Basic Design Project was issued for the block of LPG amine treatment from hydrogen sulphide and alkaline treatment from mercaptans for LLC “Afipsky Refinery”.
3. The patent of the Russian Federation No.2644779 “CATALYST FOR LIQUID PHASE OXIDATION OF SODIUM SULPHIDE” is obtained.
4. The patent of the Russian Federation No.2647591 “METHOD OF JOINT PRODUCTION OF POLYCHINONS AND ETHYLENE BISPHENOL” is obtained.
5. At the end of March 2018, KSM-X catalyst was loaded at AGFU unit of LLC “LUKOIL-NNOS”
6. A rotary-evaporative pilot unit for regeneration of solvents was commissioned.
7. R&D Center has signed a contract with JSC “Gazpromneft-Moscow Refinery” for the manufacture and supply of KSM-X catalyst batch used for the regeneration of the mercaptide-containing alkaline solution at 400 GFU section of the Combined Oil Refining Unit.
