In March 2020, Basic Design was issued for the reconstruction of the oxidative treatment unit of sulfur-alkaline wastes of the ethylene pyrolysis unit. Sulfur-alkaline wastes in the amount of 14.2 t / h with a sulphide content of 8000 mg / l (0.8% wt.) are to be cleaned. In addition to sulfides, chemically contaminated wastewaters also contain toluene, methanol, phenol, formaldehyde, and suspended solids. The planned start-up of the unit is in 2022.

8. PJSC Orsknefteorgsintez

In February 2020, the Basic Design was issued for mercaptan removal unit of liquefied hydrocarbon gases from a delayed coking unit (10.2 m3 / h) and the flow of saturated LPG from gas fractionating unit (34.2 m3 / h) using the Demerus technology with a heterogeneous catalyst KSM- X. Requirements for the residual content of mercaptan sulfur – not more than 100 ppm. The planned start-up of the unit is in 2022.

9. OJSC “Novoshakhtinsky Refinery of Petroleum Products”

In September 2019, the Basic Design was issued for mercaptan removal unit of liquefied hydrocarbon gases (9.7 m3 / h) of the GFU section by DEMERUS technology with KSM-X heterogeneous catalyst. Requirements for the residual content of total sulfur are not more than 10 ppmw. The planned start-up of the unit is in 2022.

10. JSC “CNPC-Aktobemunaigas” In January 2018, a Basic design was issued for the treatment of sulfur-alkaline wastes (SAW) generated from the oil demercaptanization unit of CNPC-Aktobemunaigas JSC. For the treatment of SAW, the technology of sulfide sulfur oxidation (LOCOS process) using the heterogeneous phthalocyanine catalyst KSM-X was adopted. SAW in an amount of 1.6 m3 / h with a sulfide content (in terms of H2S) of 33100 mg / kg (3.31% by weight) is subject to treatment. In addition to sulfides, SAW also contains mercaptan sulfur in an amount (in terms of sulfur) of 3000 mg / kg (0.3 wt%). LOCOS unit start-up – 2022.
